Fundado en el año 1998, Aloardi inicia sus acciones como uno de los primeros
sellos y colectivos independientes dedicados a difundir y producir música
experimental y electrónica, arte con nuevos medios, intervenciones sonoras,
investigaciones acústicas y expresiones culturales autóctonas de Sur y Centro
América. Colaboramos entre diferentes individuos, grupos autogestionados e
instituciones a nivel local, nacional e internacional. Organizando eventos y
exhibiciones transdisciplinarias, compartimos conocimiento sobre recursos
(no)tecnológicos, trabajo sostenible e intercambio entre comunidades locales.
Ubicado en Lima, desde el 2004 nuestro local funciona como mediateca y sirve
para la realización de encuentros, talleres, laboratorios de investigación,
programas de residencias, producciones audiovisuales y transmisiones de radio
por Internet.

Eventos curados y producidos por Aloardi han sido entre otros: Laberinto Sonoro
(2001), Cho.Lo.Fi (2002), Festival Contacto (2004 y 2008), Festival de Video
Arte Electrónica VAE (2006), SURADIO (2006), Taller de modificación de juguetes
sonoros (2010), Transducción Electromagnética (2012), Ciclo Aloardi ‘Audiosesión
+ Microferia de discos y sellos independientes’ (2015), Aloardi Exchange
Programme (2016 y 2017). En la actualidad, el Colectivo Aloardi está formado por
Gabriel Castillo Agüero, Sajjra Chrs Galarreta y Janneke van der Putten.

Founded in 1998, Aloardi began its activities as one of the first independent
labels and collectives dedicated to disseminating and producing experimental and
electronic music, art with new media, sound sensors, acoustic investigations and
indigenous cultural expressions of South and Central America. We support and
generate collaborations between different individuals, self-managed groups and
institutions at the local, national and international levels. Organizing
transdisciplinary events and exhibitions, sharing knowledge about (non)
technological resources, sustainable work and exchange between local
communities.

Events curated and produced by Aloardi have been, among others: Laberinto Sonoro
(2001), Cho.Lo.Fi (2002), Festival Contacto (2004 and 2008), Festival of
Electronic Art Video VAE (2006), SURADIO (2006), Taller of modification of sound
toys (2010), Electromagnetic Transduction (2012), Aloardi Cycle ‘Audiosession +
Microferia of discs and independent labels’ (2015), Aloardi Exchange Programme
(2016 and 2017).

Located in Lima, since 2004, our premises have functioned as a media library and
are used to hold meetings, workshops, research laboratories, residency programs,
audiovisual productions, and Internet radio broadcasts. Currently, the Aloardi
Collective is made up of Gabriel Castillo Agüero, Sajjra Chrs Galarreta and
Janneke van der Putten.
