Toggle navigation * New Search * Back to Results * Sign In PAYER ENROLLMENT SPECIALIST - ONSITE Medical Staff Services Full Time, Days Requisition # 37895 Payer Enrollment Specialist - Onsite -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Position Summary: Ensures all healthcare providers employed and contracted with Kootenai Health comply with the payer credentialing requirements. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Responsibilities: * Enrolls all employed and contracted healthcare providers with the contracted health plans for Kootenai Health * Ensures all employed and contracted healthcare providers maintain current enrollment and compliance with the contracted health plans for Kootenai Health * Coordinates all of the operational aspects related to delegated credentialing * Prepares and distributes weekly status reports to designed parties * Works under general supervision * Performs other related duties as assigned * Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field * Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function * Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Requirements and Minimum Qualifications: * Associate’s degree preferred * 1 to 3 years of healthcare related payer enrollment experience, business office experience or billing experience required * Strong organizational, written, verbal, problem solving and relationship building skills * Ability to work independently and multi-task -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Working Conditions: * Must be able to maintain a sitting position * Typical equipment used in an office job * Repetitive Movements * Remote eligible -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- About Kootenai Health Kootenai Health is a highly esteemed health care organization, serving patients throughout northern Idaho and the Inland Northwest.
