   Omg still in the 1970 , had never seen a mechanical run until I moved to NA
   .Wreckers , noteboom , kassborher , goldhoffer. Schruler . Nicolas ,
   faymonville , cometto all must be laughing there Sox off even forward
   thinking aspen trailers are decades behind . Most heavy haul professionals in
   Europe would not work with this as OHS would have issues with having to be
   under neck to release keepers .

   Nice if you don't have hydraulics. A lot more getting in and out though. I
   can detach my hydro trail king in 10 seconds!

   That sure is alot of extra work... especially if it was raining. Pain in the
   ass in the winter up here in Canada. Love using scissor necks, so fast and
   easy and work great in the winter. : )

   I'll just answer with how many 13 axle rigs do you see traveling across the
   US/Canada/Mexico? Now take that number and rationalize it with how many 5
   axle rigs you see. Those are your real world figures.

   rig moves back the metal wheels on the lowboy rolls up need those ramps for

   @mta415 you most certainly can stab a loaded trailer. How do you get under
   it. In most cases you would load over the back. Some prices you have to break
   down the neck and load, such as 815/825s

   @killer2600 equipment hauling is thru the roof down in my part of Texas with
   the Eagle Four region with all of the oil drilling going on down here.
   Everything we have is moving right now. Hell I gotta move a JD 330 tomorrow
   from San Antonio to Christine TX...

   @mta415 Yeah you never see a mechanical gooseneck in real world anymore.
   Start to forget they ever existed. How's the equipment haul side of the
   industry going? The general freight side is in the toilet of course and tons
   of youtube videos to lay testament to it.

   I just noticed that, you are correct. Maybe I should have watched more
   carefully and not assume that all RGN trailers are hydraulic. We have 2 Kalyn
   Siebert RGN's and one XL Specialized but they run off of the PTO hydraulics
   on the tractors.

   @MoeDCFCD91 the neck will always reconnect as they are both at ground height
   during disconnect. If your talking about reconnecting the neck with trailer
   to the fifth wheel the ramp on the back of the truck will always make it
   possible to slide the neck up onto the trucks fifth wheel. In modern times
   hydraulic detachable goosenecks are all the rage, less effort and time to
   unhook/hook, and able to handle more weight without tearing up the not cheap
   trailer.

   @MoeDCFCD91 the neck stays connected to the 5th wheel in normal
   loading/offloading operations. The lifting mechanism is hydraulically
   operated, it lifts the loaded trailer into the transport position. You don't
   "stab" a loaded trailer...

   so what happens when there is a heavy peice loaded and you cannont force the
   neck to roll back up on the trailer
