McDowell Mountain Animal Hospital was established in January 2009. Our entire
healthcare team is dedicated to keeping your pets happy and healthy. Each team
member was carefully selected and trained to provide gentle, compassionate and
quality care for your furry family member. Our doctors and technicians provide
excellent medical advice through advanced and continuing education. We adhere to
the highest standards of care and specialize in small companion animals,
including dogs and cats.

We truly understand that your pet is a member of your family. We believe that
pets bring so much joy in life and make our lives richer. Our hospital provides
many services that will help you keep your pet energetic and strong, so they can
live a long happy life.

New Patient Registration: please download our registration form and bring it
with you on your first visit.

“regular” practitioner? The simple answer is that the holistic practitioner
looks at the whole patient including the mind, body and environment.


WHAT IS THE PURRFECT PET FOOD?

This is a question that I still struggle with. Recently I was looking for a new
food for my picky little terrier who is allergic to chicken and sometimes
sensitive to other foods as well. I found a food with a good nutrient profile.
The website described the clean and sustainable sourcing of the ingredients and
the care taken in its preparation. So I tried some. The food smelled great, to
me. Unfortunately, my dog did not agree.
