November 1. If you have received such communications, please contact the company
directly to claim your funds. If funds are not claimed by the owner and the
company reports them to the North Carolina Department of State Treasurer as
unclaimed property, it may take several months for the property to be properly
recorded in our database. You may check on our website at the "Search Now" link
below at any time to see if the Department’s Unclaimed Property Division is
holding property associated with your name. The database is updated daily.

NCCASH CLAIMS

Claims are processed in the order they are received. Normal processing time is
approximately 90 days. However, due to the unusually high volume of claims we
are receiving, current processing time may be greater than 90 days. Once your
claim is assigned to a processor, they will contact you if any additional
information or documents are needed. You will be notified via email if/when your
claim is approved for payment. You may check the progress of your claim by
clicking on the "Claim Status" block below.
