Sales Engineer/Architect – Microsoft Services

Location: (Remote) US -NorthEast or Pacific

At BlueVoyant, we sell highly technical and complex services to our customers
based on best-in-industry technology solutions.   Sales engineers are critical
members of the team who drive solution architecture/design/documentation.

The Solutions Engineer is responsible for engaging with prospects, directly or
along with channel partners, to drive new customer acquisition and upsell
opportunities for BlueVoyant’s Managed Security Services portfolio.

Qualifications for the Role:

 * Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with a passion for cybersecurity
   technologies and services.
 * In-depth technical knowledge of security technologies including 3rd party
   risk, operational risk, and cybersecurity including MDR/XDR and SOC/SIEM.
 * In-depth technical knowledge and hands-on experience with some/all of the
   following: Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft M365 Defender Suite (e.g. Defender
   for Server, Cloud, etc), Microsoft Active Directory, Windows 11, SentinelOne,
   SOC operations, threat hunting.
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  This role must be able to
   provide world-class product presentations, demonstrations, and RFI/RFP
   responses in pursuit of enterprise business.
 * Eager to work with Product Marketing, Sales, and Engineering teams to
   identify and improve products as part of the larger team.
 * Familiarity with Salesforce and ability to comprehend a sales cycle from
   beginning to end.
 * Demonstrated and proven sales results for sophisticated security services
   solutions
 * Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
 * Ability to work accurately under stress and pressure to meet competing
   deadlines
 * Perform the above without compromising integrity.

Ideal candidates will:

 * Have in-depth technical experience with SIEM/SOC operations, MDR, XDR
   technologies and providing these functions “as a service”
 * Have one or more of the following certifications:  SC-900, AZ-104, AZ-500,
   MS-500, CISSP, and/or similar experience.
 * Have experience in a startup environment and be able to thrive in uncertain
   environments with rapidly evolving solutions.
 * Be proficient at communicating with customers in various roles:  technical,
   managerial, and executive.
 * Have successfully worked in channel and partner-driven sales environments
